Dehydrosertindole (1-[2-[4-[5-Chloro-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-1H-indol-3-yl]-1-piperidinyl]ethyl]-1,3-dihydro-2H-Imidazol-2-one / Lu 28-092) is a derivative of Sertindole, an indole-based antipsychotic with a complex structure involving a substituted indole ring system. The term “dehydro” indicates the presence of additional double bonds or the removal of hydrogen atoms from the structure. This modification results in Dehydrosertindole, which has altered electronic and steric properties compared to Sertindole. Sertindole is used primarily to treat schizophrenia. Dehydrosertindole might retain or modify this activity due to structural changes, affecting its interaction with dopamine and serotonin receptors. This product is available in kilograms.
