Description

DOPC:Chol:DOTAP:DSPE-PEG(2000) (55:30:10:5) Liposomes has been widely utilized for cancer therapy. Liposomes loaded with anticancer drugs and functionalized with targeting ligands can selectively deliver drugs to tumor cells while minimizing systemic toxicity. DOTAP-containing liposomes enhance cellular uptake and intracellular drug release, improving the efficacy of chemotherapy. DSPE-PEG(2000) extends circulation time and reduces clearance by the reticuloendothelial system (RES), enhancing the accumulation of liposomal drugs in tumors through the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect.
