Description

DOPS:DOPC (5:95) Liposomes can encapsulate nucleic acids such as DNA or RNA for gene delivery applications. The cationic lipids in the liposomal formulation can interact with negatively charged nucleic acids, forming lipoplexes that protect the nucleic acids from degradation and facilitate their cellular uptake. DOPS:DOPC liposomes may be modified with targeting ligands for specific cell targeting.
