Description

DOTA-PEG5-C6-DBCO has been widely used in medical imaging, diagnostics, targeted therapy, biosensing, and materials science. DOTA is commonly used as a chelating agent to complex gadolinium (Gd^3+) ions, forming MRI contrast agents. PEGylation with DOTA-PEG5-C6-DBCO can enhance the circulation time and renal clearance of these agents, improving their imaging efficacy. Additionally, DOTA can chelate radioactive isotopes such as gallium-68 (^68Ga) or lutetium-177 (^177Lu) for PET imaging or targeted radiotherapy. PEGylation with DOTA-PEG5-C6-DBCO can optimize pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution of these radiopharmaceuticals.
