DOTAGA stands for 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1-glutaric acid-4,7,10-triacetic acid, which is a macrocyclic chelating agent similar to DOTA (1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid). The tetra(t-Bu ester) designation indicates that the carboxylic acid groups of DOTAGA are protected with t-butyl (t-Bu) ester groups.
