Description

DOTAP-based Fluoroliposome-Cyanine 5.5 lipid-Azide, Lyophilized Powder is effective for delivering antigens and adjuvants for vaccine development. The azide group allows conjugation of immune-stimulating molecules such as cytokines or TLR agonists to enhance the immune response. Cyanine 5.5 fluorescence allows for real-time monitoring of the uptake of antigen-loaded liposomes and the activation of the immune system in vivo. In addition, the Cyanine 5.5 fluorescence provides excellent tissue penetration and low background interference, making it ideal for in vivo tracking and deep tissue imaging. The near-infrared emission allows the liposomes to be tracked in living organisms over long periods without significant interference from tissue autofluorescence.
