Description

DSPC/CHOL (55:45 mol/mol) Liposomes with Ammonium Sulfate Gradient (100nm), Lyophilized Powder are used as adjuvants in vaccine formulations. The DSPC/CHOL liposomes can encapsulate antigens or immune-modulatory agents, enhancing the immune response by promoting the presentation of antigens to immune cells, such as dendritic cells and macrophages. Besides, liposomes can be loaded with imaging agents such as gadolinium for MRI or fluorescent dyes for optical imaging. DSPC/CHOL liposomes are suitable for this purpose due to their stability and ability to encapsulate hydrophilic contrast agents, enabling enhanced imaging of tumors or other tissues.
