Fmoc-L-Cys(Trt)-NHN=Pyv Resin (Fmoc-S-trityl-L-cysteinyl-hydrazono-pyruvyl-aminomethylpolystyrene resin) combines an Fmoc-protected amino group, a trityl group protecting the cysteine thiol, and a hydrazone linkage for selective conjugation, all attached to an aminomethylpolystyrene (AMPS) backbone. The Fmoc protection of the amine group and trityl protection of the thiol group provide stability and control during peptide synthesis, while the hydrazone linkage allows for conjugation to a wide variety of molecules, including drugs, polymers, and fluorescent labels.
