Description

Fmoc-Thr(tBu)-MHPA PEG-Polystyrene Resin is designed for the stepwise synthesis of peptides, especially those containing threonine residues. The Fmoc and tBu protections allow for the selective activation of amino acids during coupling reactions, while preventing side reactions from the hydroxyl group of threonine. Additionally, threonine is a common site for phosphorylation in proteins. Fmoc-Thr(tBu)-MHPA PEG-Polystyrene Resin allows the controlled incorporation of threonine residues, which can later be phosphorylated in vitro, mimicking biological processes. Polystyrene resin is an essential material for a wide range of uses in research, diagnostics, medical devices, and multiple industial applications from packaging to construction.
