Description

Fmoc-Tyr(tBu)-Rink Amide PEG-Polystyrene Resin is preloaded with Fmoc-protected tyrosine, where the phenolic hydroxyl group is tert-butyl (tBu) protected to prevent undesired reactions during synthesis. The rink amide is a widely used linker in solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) to yield peptides with an amide at the C-terminal upon cleavage. This resin is suitable for the synthesis of modified peptides, including phosphorylated tyrosine peptides (after selective deprotection of the tBu group). In addition, it facilitates the construction of peptide libraries for structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies and high-throughput screening in drug discovery.
