Graphitized Carbon Nanofiber are carbon-based nanomaterials composed of sp2-hybridized carbon atoms arranged in a graphitic structure. They are typically characterized by their high aspect ratio, large surface area, and graphitic crystalline structure. GCNFs are utilized as electrode materials in supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries due to their high electrical conductivity and large surface area, which facilitate fast charge/discharge rates and high energy storage capacity. They are also employed as catalyst supports or even as catalysts themselves in various chemical reactions due to their high surface area and graphitic structure, which provide active sites for catalytic reactions.
