Description

H-Asn(Trt)-2-Chlorotrityl Polystyrene Resin combines the mild, acid-labile 2-chlorotrityl linker with the protective Trt group, making it an ideal choice for synthesizing peptides with asparagine-sensitive side chains, particularly in complex or lengthy peptide sequences. The Trt group on asparagine’s side chain amide ensures protection during SPPS, preventing side reactions such as aspartimide formation, which can compromise the integrity of the peptide. The 2-chlorotrityl linker is acid-labile, allowing for the cleavage of peptides under mild acidic conditions (e.g., low concentrations of TFA in dichloromethane). This minimizes damage to acid-sensitive residues and side-chain protecting groups.
