Description

Immunoliposomes-Caproylamine (Non-PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder are a subset of lipid-based drug delivery systems. Caproylamine contributes to the liposome structure by integrating into the lipid bilayer via its hydrophobic tail while presenting reactive primary amine groups on the liposome surface. These functional groups facilitate the attachment of therapeutic payloads or targeting moieties, such as monoclonal antibodies, for precise delivery to diseased tissues or specific cell populations. The non-PEGylated formulation avoids the steric hindrance caused by polyethylene glycol (PEG), favoring better interaction with cell membranes.
