Description

IR808-TZ is a conjugate that combines the near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye IR808 with a tetrazine functional group. The IR808 dye is a member of the heptamethine cyanine dye family, known for strong absorption and fluorescence in the NIR region. These properties make it ideal for imaging in live organisms, where visible light-based probes might suffer from poor tissue penetration and high background noise. IR808-Tz can be used for non-invasive imaging in live animals or tissues due to its NIR properties. The near-infrared emission of IR808 allows for deeper tissue penetration compared to visible light-based fluorophores, providing clearer and more detailed images of tissues or organs in vivo.
