Description

Low Crosslinked Polystyrene-PEG N A is useful in the synthesis of nucleic acids, particularly DNA and RNA oligonucleotides. The amine group can serve as a site for attaching nucleoside phosphoramidites, enabling controlled oligonucleotide assembly. The resin is suitable for standard solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis (SPOS) methods, where phosphoramidites are sequentially added to the growing chain. The hydrophilic PEG linker facilitates reactions involving modified nucleotides, such as 2′-O-methyl RNA or locked nucleic acids (LNAs).
