Low Crosslinked Polystyrene-PEG S TRT-Cl (Low Crosslinked Polystyrene-PEG S Trityl-Chlorotrityl) features a polystyrene (PS) backbone with a low degree of crosslinking, polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacers, and functional trityl (TRT) and chlorotrityl (Cl-TRT) groups. This combination enhances resin swelling, improves solvation in diverse solvents, and enables selective immobilization and cleavage of biomolecules or organic intermediates. This resin is widely used in peptide synthesis, particularly for C-terminal anchoring strategies. The PEG S spacer improves compatibility with aqueous and organic solvents, while the trityl-chlorotrityl linkage provides selective cleavage options, minimizing unwanted side reactions.
