Description

MMAF is a synthetic derivative of dolastatin 10, a natural product originally isolated from the sea hare Dolabella auricularia. MMAF is part of the auristatin family of microtubule inhibitors and is commonly used as a cytotoxic payload in the development of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). MMAF has found applications in the development of ADCs for targeted cancer therapy. The goal is to enhance the specificity of cancer treatment by selectively delivering the cytotoxic agent to cancer cells while sparing healthy tissues. This targeted approach aims to improve therapeutic efficacy and reduce side effects associated with traditional chemotherapy.
