Description

N-(m-PEG4)-N’-(biotin-PEG3)-Cy5 is used to fluorescently label biomolecules such as proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, or small molecules. The Cy5 dye enables visualization and detection of the labeled molecules using fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, or other fluorescence-based techniques. In addition, the combination of biotin and Cy5 enables the development of biosensors and diagnostic assays. Biotinylated molecules can be immobilized on sensor surfaces or used as probes in assays for detecting specific biomolecules or pathogens.
