Description

N3/PT1/AAO can serve as an excellent support for catalytic nanoparticles. The azide groups can react with alkyne-functionalized nanoparticles, securely anchoring them onto the polymer matrix. The high surface area of the AAO template enhances the dispersion of these nanoparticles, leading to improved catalytic activity and stability. This setup is beneficial for applications in heterogeneous catalysis, such as hydrogenation, oxidation, and reduction reactions. Besides, this composite can be used to develop high-performance supercapacitors. The azide-functionalized polymer can incorporate conductive polymers or carbon-based nanomaterials, such as graphene or carbon nanotubes, enhancing the composite’s electrical conductivity and capacitance. The AAO’s porous structure facilitates ion transport and increases the electrode’s surface area, improving the energy storage capacity and charge/discharge rates.
