Negatively PG-Based Fluorescent Liposome, NBD lipid (fatty acid tail) Labeled refers to liposomes primarily composed of negatively charged lipids, with phosphatidylglycerol (PG) as the primary lipid component. In this case, the liposomes are labeled with the fluorescent compound NBD (7-nitrobenz-2-oxa-1,3-diazole) on the fatty acid tails of the lipids. NBD is a green-fluorescent dye widely used for labeling lipids in biological research. These liposomes can be used for the delivery of negatively charged nucleic acids, and the NBD label can aid in visualizing the uptake and intracellular distribution of nucleic acids.
