OH-Se-Se-PEG-PLGA (Hydroxyl-Selenium Bond-Polyethylene Glycol-Polylactide-Glycolide Copolymer) refers to a copolymer or conjugate consisting of a structure that includes hydroxyl groups (OH), selenide groups (Se), polyethylene glycol (PEG), and poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA). Selenide is a chemical moiety containing selenium. Selenides can exhibit redox properties, and their incorporation into copolymers or conjugates may be relevant for applications involving redox-responsive behavior or antioxidant properties. PLGA contributes to the biodegradability of the copolymer, making it suitable for the formulation of nanoparticles that can be broken down into biocompatible byproducts over time.
