PAMAM G1.0 Dendrimer Octa-substituted with α-Cyclodextrin (octa-αCD-PAMAM) integrates the nanostructured characteristics of PAMAM dendrimers with the hydrophobic cavity of α-cyclodextrin, allowing for efficient encapsulation and controlled release of small molecules or drugs, as well as enhancing solubility and stability. Octa-αCD-PAMAM dendrimers can be used in biosensing applications due to the host-guest interaction between the α-CD units and specific guest molecules (such as drugs, ions, or biomolecules). In addition, the α-CD units on the dendrimer surface can also be used to enhance the imaging capabilities of the conjugates.
