PDEAm-N3 (Azide-terminated Poly(N,N-diethylacrylamide)) is a versatile polymer that combines the thermo-responsive properties of Poly(N,N-diethylacrylamide) with the reactivity of azide groups. PDEAm is a thermo-responsive polymer known for its lower critical solution temperature (LCST) behavior. It is soluble in water below a certain temperature and precipitates out when the temperature rises above the LCST. This property is useful in temperature-sensitive applications. The azide group is highly reactive and can participate in click chemistry, particularly in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC).
