Description

PDLLA-PEG-ALK (Poly(D,L-lactide)-b-poly(ethylene glycol)-alkyne) is a block copolymer composed of three main components: poly(D,L-lactide) (PDLLA), poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), and an alkyne functional group. PDLLA is a biodegradable polymer derived from lactic acid. It is commonly used in biomedical applications due to its biocompatibility and biodegradability. PEG is a hydrophilic polymer that is water-soluble and non-toxic. The alkyne functional group (-C≡CH) provides a site for further chemical modification via click chemistry, particularly the copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) reaction.
