Description

PDLLA-PEG-COOH (Poly(D,L-lactide)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-carboxylic acid) is used in the fabrication of tissue engineering scaffolds for regenerative medicine applications. The copolymer provides mechanical support and biocompatibility, while the PEG segments improve cell adhesion and prevent protein fouling. The carboxyl group allows for surface modification with bioactive molecules or cell-targeting ligands to promote cell attachment, proliferation, and tissue regeneration.
