Description

PDLLA-PEG-COOH (Poly(D,L-lactide)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-carboxylic acid) can be used in biomedical imaging applications. The copolymer can be conjugated with imaging agents such as fluorescent dyes, magnetic nanoparticles, or radioactive labels. The PEG chains can help solubilize and stabilize the imaging agents, while the carboxylic acid functional group can facilitate their conjugation to the copolymer backbone. This allows for the development of contrast agents for various imaging modalities, including fluorescence imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and nuclear imaging.
