PDLLA-PEG-N3 (Poly(D,L-lactide)-b-poly(ethylene glycol)-azide) can be used as a carrier for drug delivery. The PEG component provides stealth properties, reducing recognition by the immune system and prolonging circulation time in the bloodstream. The azide functional group allows for conjugation of targeting ligands, therapeutic agents, or imaging probes using click chemistry.
