Description

PEGm-b-PSn-N3 is a block copolymer composed of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) and polystyrene (PS), with the PS block terminated or functionalized with azide groups (N3). The copolymer can self-assemble into micelles in aqueous solutions, with PEG forming the outer hydrophilic shell and PS forming the inner hydrophobic core. This structure can encapsulate drugs and facilitate their delivery. The copolymer can also be used to develop smart materials that respond to environmental changes. For example, the PS block may undergo changes in response to temperature or solvent conditions.
