Description

PG-based Fluoroliposome-DiA, Lyophilized Powder is based on PG (phosphatidylglycerol), a naturally occurring glycerophospholipid, and is encapsulated with DiA, a highly fluorescent dye known for its application in membrane dynamics and cellular tracking. PG-based liposomes are known for their bilayer structure, which is more stable in certain environments, especially for the encapsulation of both hydrophobic and hydrophilic substances. The cationic nature of PG, particularly in combination with other lipid components, provides efficient cell membrane interaction and uptake. DiA emits green fluorescence when excited by UV light, which makes it an excellent choice for tracking liposomes in biological environments. Its fluorescence intensity makes it ideal for real-time imaging of cellular uptake, distribution, and membrane fusion events.
