Plain Unsaturated 18:1-16:0 PC Liposomes, Lyophilized Powder are a suitable option for ocular drug delivery. Liposomes can be engineered to carry a variety of drugs for treating eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Their ability to encapsulate hydrophobic drugs increases bioavailability in the eye while minimizing side effects in surrounding tissues. 18:1-16:0 PC liposomes can also be used to deliver tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) or cancer vaccines directly to immune cells, particularly dendritic cells and macrophages, to stimulate a targeted immune response. The liposomes can be designed to fuse with immune cell membranes, enhancing the presentation of tumor antigens to T-cells and activating a robust immune response against cancer cells.
