Plain Unsaturated 22:1 (Cis) PC Liposomes, Lyophilized Powder are widely used in biomedical, pharmaceutical, and biophysical research, where their longer fatty acid chains provide additional versatility compared to shorter-chain phospholipids. 22:1 PC is a phospholipid containing a 22-carbon unsaturated fatty acid (docosenoic acid) with one cis double bond at the 9th position. This fatty acid chain is longer and more unsaturated compared to other commonly used phospholipids like oleic acid (C18:1) or eicosenoic acid (C20:1). Liposomes formed from 22:1 PC are highly fluidic, and their unique structure offers various applications in drug delivery, membrane studies, gene delivery, and imaging.
