PLGA-PEG-cRGD (Poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide)-block-poly(ethylene glycol)-cRGD) is a chemical compound that is composed of PLGA, PEG and cRGD. PLGA is composed of lactic acid and glycolic acid units and is known for its biocompatibility and tunable degradation properties. PEG is often included in copolymer structures to improve biocompatibility, reduce immunogenicity, and enhance solubility. RGD peptides are known for their ability to bind to integrin receptors, specifically integrin αvβ3, which is often overexpressed on the surface of certain cancer cells and endothelial cells involved in angiogenesis.
