Description

PNIPAM-N3-PEG-N3-PNIPAM combines the thermoresponsive properties of PNIPAM with the hydrophilic and biocompatible properties of PEG, while the azide groups facilitate bioorthogonal reactions for further functionalization or labeling. PNIPAM-N3-PEG-N3-PNIPAM can be used in drug delivery systems that respond to temperature changes. The PNIPAM blocks provide a thermoresponsive mechanism for controlled drug release, while the PEG block enhances solubility and stability. The azide groups allow for the attachment of drugs or targeting ligands via click chemistry. The polymer can also be used to functionalize nanoparticles with temperature-responsive properties.
