Description

Poly(4-[N,N-di(trimethylsilyl)aminomethyl]-styrene) consists of repeat units derived from the 4-[N,N-di(trimethylsilyl)aminomethyl]-styrene monomer. The trimethylsilyl groups protect the amino functionality, making the polymer stable under certain reaction conditions. P(DTSAMS) can be used as a precursor for functionalized polystyrene derivatives. After deprotection of the amino groups, the resulting polymer can be further modified or functionalized for various applications, such as in surface modification, biomaterials, or catalysis.
