Polystyrene A HMPA (Aminoethyl Polystyrene functionalized with a 4-(hydroxymethyl)-phenoxyacetic acid linker) is well-suited for various organic synthesis applications, where the amine functionality allows it to act as a nucleophile in reactions such as acylation, hydrolysis, and amide formation. The hydroxymethyl group in the HMPA linker can also be used for further derivatization, enabling the synthesis of more complex compounds.
