Polystyrene AM RAM (Aminomethyl Polystyrene functionalized with a modified Rink Amide linker) can be used in click chemistry, where the modified Rink Amide linker can be functionalized with various reactive groups, such as azides, alkynes, or strained cyclooctynes. These modifications allow the resin to serve as a scaffold for assembling complex bio-conjugates or for generating “clickable” peptides that can be selectively reacted with other biomolecules, nanoparticles, or small molecules.
