Description

Propargyl-PEG5-Acid is a heterobifunctional, PEGylated crosslinker featuring a carboxylic acid at one end and propargyl group at the other for reaction with azide-containing compounds. The carboxylic acid reacts with primary amine under the activation of HATU or EDC. The propargyl group can participate in copper catalyzed azide-alkyne Click Chemistry reactions. This compound can be used for bioconjugation or as a building block for synthesis of small molecules, conjugates of small molecules and/or biomolecules, or other tool compounds for chemical biology and medicinal chemistry that require ligation.
