Description

ROX DBCO, 5-isomer is a specific derivative of ROX (5-carboxy-X-rhodamine), a red-emitting fluorescent dye, functionalized with a Dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO) group. In this compound, the DBCO moiety is attached to the ROX molecule at the 5-position. It can be used in bioorthogonal labeling strategies, where the fluorescent dye is selectively attached to biomolecules containing azide groups in complex biological environments. The bioorthogonal nature of the click chemistry reaction allows for specific and rapid labeling without interfering with native biological processes.
