Surface Reactive Doxorubicin Liposomes-Folate (PEGylated), Lyophilized Powder refers to a nanocarrier designed to deliver doxorubicin, a potent chemotherapy agent, to cancer cells with high specificity. These liposomes are engineered with folate receptors as targeting ligands, PEGylated for enhanced circulation time, and are presented in a lyophilized powder form for improved stability and ease of storage. Doxorubicin is an anthracycline chemotherapy drug widely used for the treatment of various cancers, including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and leukemia. It works by intercalating into the DNA of cancer cells, inhibiting DNA replication and transcription, and inducing cell death.
