Description

t-Boc-N-amido-PEG4-(CH2)3CO2H is a derivative of polyethylene glycol (PEG) with a t-butoxycarbonyl (t-Boc) protected amino group at one end and a carboxylic acid group at the other end, with a four-unit PEG spacer and a three-carbon linker. PEGylation of drugs or drug carriers can improve their pharmacokinetic properties by increasing their circulation time in the bloodstream. The t-Boc group can protect the amino group during drug conjugation reactions, and the carboxylic acid group can be used for further functionalization or conjugation with targeting ligands.
