Thiol Resin (SI) is a macroporous polystyrene-based solid-phase resin functionalized with thiol (-SH) groups. Silica Thiol is a silica based alkyl thiol. Thiol-containing peptides can be synthesized and cyclized via disulfide bond formation, a crucial step in stabilizing bioactive peptides. In addition, the thiol groups can selectively react with maleimide-functionalized drugs, fluorescent probes, and biomolecules, enabling site-specific labeling and conjugation.
